It was an 18 month journey, but Clowns without Borders Ireland are proud to announce that we have compliance with the GOVERNANCE CODE!
The governance code in Ireland is a code of practice for charitable and voluntary organisations in Ireland. It is extremely comprehensive – ranging from creating a common vision and mission for the charity, to implemeting issues like transparency and accountability, as well as behaving with integrity and responsibility on a daily basis.
We are proud to align ourselves with the code, and believe that its adoption gives us a series of best practice models for the management of our charity. Ultimately, this will help us reach even more children with laughter and smiles, both at home and abroad.
